Halfway Inspiration for our Paper Flowers Challenge
The 'Belles' have been very busy during this month and have come up with these wonderful ideas to inspire you to take part in our Paper Flowers Challenge #14 which runs until 31st August. Entries here. It has also been such a pleasure visiting all the terrific entries we have had so far this month. Such variety and a lot of new faces. Just one reminder our first and foremost rule at Unstampabelles is no stamps (rubber or digital) and this does include sentiments. Thanks.
Our first card is from Beth who has used a Dufex 3D Cherry Blossom
Another paper flower from Beth, this time in a terrific pop-up form.
I think Beth likes her flowers as we have another wonderful example here. Beth has used her Spellbinder dies to create this terrific flower. Be sure to visit Beth's blog for more details.
This fun layout is from Lauren who created the beautiful layered black flower for this page. If you visit Lauren's blog you will see a close up and a quick 'how to do'. It involves Glimmer Mist and scrunching.
Here we have two terrific cards from Susan. These beautiful flowers are printed embellishments from Ormolu on Etsy...link here but she appears to be on a mini vacation.
You can visit Susan's blog here to find out more details.
Isn't this just the cutest card and the paper flowers certainly finish this card off nicely. The amazing creator is Sarah and you can see more of her work here.
I have loved seeing a lot of our entries including quilling this time and JanR has joined in creating this beautiful fridge magnet. Something so handy or even a terrific gift idea. Visit JanR's blog to read her story.
Time to show us what you can do.

Yes, finally I have made it to our current challenge. Thanks for hanging in there.
Challenge #14 is all about Paper Flowers.
So we would love to see your creations with an addition of Paper Flowers. Remember NO STAMPS (Rubber or Digital).
Our wonderful sponsor this month is Blue Edge Crafts who have donated this terrific prize pack of flowers in many forms from their online store. Be sure to visit here and see all the other goodies they have to offer.
Included in the prize are paper tole sheets, stickers, ribbon roses and butterflies, a Spellbinders Tulips Pendant die and not shown will be a special pack of our new flower paper. Time to be inspired. The Design Team have been working extra hard this month and have come up with amazing Paper Flowers for their creations. They show how this challenge is open to so many people with the wide range of flower making techniques. Punches, dies, paper tole, paper embellishments, stickers, origami. |
Beth:- has created this beautiful Shadow Box Card. Beth has used paper tole rose images on the inside of the card and rolled roses trimming the outside. The sentiment is computer generated. Beth has also made a beautiful box to place this card in...so be sure to visit her blog for more photos and details.
Looking down into the Shadow Box Card.
Cathy:- Has used paint samples from the hardware shop to show off her pretty paper flowers on this card. Two different sized flower punches were used to create these flowers and then a brad added to the centre to hold them together. Look at that beautiful wire embellishment too.
JanR:- has created this beautiful spray of paper flowers and leaves with her dies and punches.
Lauren:- has been busy scrapping again. Lauren has used the flower and little girl embellishments from the Kaisercraft Lil' Primrose Collectables range. Aren't they so sweet.
Merry:- has been busy with origami this challenge. Merry has created the Verdi Vase using this video tutorial and then the lilies using this photo tutorial. The flowers were attached to small branches from around Merry's yard with florist tape.
Sarah:- has created this bright and cheery card with layered paper flowers stickers and a chipboard sentiment.
Stacie:- Paper flower was created using Tim Holtz Tattered Floral Die and Distress Inks. White sentiment is a rub on and the scalloped background is a great use of Stacie's scrap pieces of paper.
Susan:- has used a Martha Stewart border punch and the Score Tool from Stampin Up to create these wonderful flowers. The sentiment is computer generated.
Now it's your turn, we can't wait to see your entries.
****Remember, no stamps (rubber or digital) this also means no sentiments stamps.***
