Paper Beads from Merry

I wanted to also share this card today perfect for our recycle challenge here at Unstampabelles.  The blue star is a bottle lid which I found on the street in Gordonvale outside of one of our many pubs (4 to be exact).  No I had just been to the Florist to have coffee.  The silver section of the card is alfoil.  I was inspired by our Guest Designer Olivia this month and also one of my tennis partners to use the foil in the embossing folder.  Comes out beautifully....this is four layers of alfoil.
I made the paper bead also.  Brought back terrific memories.  When I was a kid we made heaps of these with our Mum.  We hung them in our bedroom door entrance as a curtain/screen.
Remember if you can add a paper bead to your recycled paper creation over at Unstampabelles (no stamps) you will receive a bonus entry.

  2. Wow Merry, that card is super! I really must use the alfoil tip. However, I am particularly grateful for the information re the bottle top - I thought this was my own guilty secret - seeing squashed bottle tops on the road and picking them up! Did it at the butchers yesterday! And yeah, sure, you were at the florists!!
