Welcome to Week three of the current challenge for May
A Special Person
Sunrise in Hobart in May
Your Challenge is to make a paper based
CARD or PROJECT
that Celebrates a Special Person in your life!
It may be a Mother's Day project or similar but does not have to be that.
It can be for a male or a female
TWIST: to write on your blog WHY that person is special to YOU
It can be a mother or your significant other, or a much loved person in the family or a person who deserves recognition
AND you have until the 30th May to enter the Challenge
Our Sponsor for this challenge is our own
$15 voucher at Blue Edge Crafts
The sad news is that Beth will be leaving us at the end of the month, having spent a long time on the Unstampabelles team. Beth has been with us for over two years, and I was very pleased when she decided to stay with me when Merry passed the reins over at the beginning of 2014. I thank you for your loyalty, friendship, assistance and support Beth. I has meant a lot to me.
Now, this means that there has to be a Design Team call.
So, if you think you can work to the rule of NO STAMPS and create projects which showcase your skills in creating with paper and ink, this could be for you!
If you go to the top of the blog you will see a tag called 'Ideas for Creations' where we talk about the many things you can do to create without actually using either stamps or digital stamps. If you are excited about this type of challenge, please send me (Susan at Time to Play) an email with the words "Design Team" in the subject line. Tell me who you are, where you live and why you would like to be a member of our team. You need to be able to make an item at least once a month and to photograph/scan it and put it up on the DT blog two days prior to the challenge going live. Ideally you would be prepared to make at least one other or hopefully two other pieces as well - but this is not obligatory.
Now, on to this weeks inspiration from the team:
JULENE
A friend's mother is a great scone cook, and she will have given her this on Mother's Day
She made this card for her youngest daughter's birthday.
Isn't that embossing folder cute!
Made this one for a fun loving friend of hers, who acts way younger than her years!!
Susan: a tag for a relative who is a Carer for his Partner
Well there you have it for another week - you have two more weeks to enter and we are waiting to see what you can create for us!
Beautiful cards from you all x
