Challenge #38 - August: A Significant Birthday

Well that sure is a quick turn-around! We finished the last challenge Friday night and start this one today - whew! Apparently despite all the fantastic DT inspiration, you were not that sure of the challenge theme for July, but hopefully this one will be easier for you to meet!

Remember: winners etc are announced next Monday morning AEST

The new Challenge is :  A Significant Birthday!
TWIST: use/create a shaped CARD

Now, the birthday may be one that ends in zero, or be for a Right of Passage birthday but it could also be for a significant person, or a birthday that has a special significance - that's OK, just explain that in your blog when you post the card.

Yes, there is a prize because we are sponsored for August by the wonderful

Regal Craft
and the prize is
$15.00 voucher to be spent in their on-line store!

Many thanks to our sponsor and they also supplied the DT with shaped cards of our choice as well - wasn't that kind! As some of the DT live a long way away from Launceston, Tasmania, you might not see their shaped card from the sponsor until later in the month!

We also have a Guest Designer again this month - Debbie Reed - and her blog can be found HERE. She has provided us with a wonderful card for inspiration to start the month!

You can find similar Z cards at Regal Craft - I have a lovely one in Kraft!

I love all those hearts and the whole thing just oozes love for the recipient. Many thanks Deb for being our Guest Designer for August!

Now, the DT have also come up with some inspiration - some of the team are currently on summer break but we shall see their work later in the month!

Hilde's Cupcake shaped card

I used a muffin paper and cut it in half and spread it out and it fitted perfectly onto the shape, I left the inside plain
