What a wonderful success our Paper Dress challenge was. We had dresses made from quilling, iris folding, circles, balls of paper and patterned paper. Terrific to see so many paper techniques. Thanks too for taking the time to share a comment.
We are thrilled to say that our
Design Team Favourite this month is
Gail with her Iris Folded dress. It is so elegant. You can find out more about Gail's card at her

Time to share some inspiration.
Shylasharee is our Guest Designer this month and has created this won
derful card using flowers which have been in her stash for years. The background handmade paper base are scraps which were left out when making gift boxes.
Merry has gone through her scraps and created this patchwork card. The stickers have been in her stash for years and sadly she is onto her last sheet of them. Merry is very happy with card as it doubles as a swap card for her partner over at Craftmad. August's swap was two cards - Things with Wings. You can see what other
Craftmad members created here.
Sarah has
used the back side of a piece of coloured paper which she had previously die cut a star. Sarah then elevated that with foam tape and placed strips of scrap paper behind to create the design. The bit of coloured twine is recycled from a gift tag and the sentiment is a sticker.
Susan cannibalised a card she had made because it wasn't something she liked; re-made it into this and used scrap card, old rub-ons; very old button from stash; old flowers; sentiment and flowers from a freebie pack with a magazine from earlier this year.
Beth used a Flower Fairy Card Kit from Blue Edge Crafts and has had in her stash for ages. Beth also only used papers from my scrap box.
Cathy, with a little bit of new....Scorpal board was able to use some very old stash
- scrapbook papers, old scraps, acetate to create this wonderful gift box.
JanR used
all old stash except for the craft wire. Also, ribbon is a scrap that would be too small for a card.
Lauren created a scrapbook layout on her card with lots of paper strips in the background as she had a bunch of them leftover from a scrap book page. Rather than throw them all out Lauren decided to create a matching card, using the same techniques as the layout but in miniature. Be sure to visit Lauren's blog and see the page here.
Now it's time for you to dig through your old stash and scraps and share a creation.
