The twist is to look out your window, and then incorporate something from the view into your project. It might be only one item or it may be the whole thing!
Some of you have such pretty things to look at out your windows!
I went to the Random Number Generator website and it told me
The winner for January is
Congratulations to Dawn
The DT Favorite is
Well done Lou Lou
The winner and DT Favorite have already been contacted by email so Ladies, if you have not yet got the email, check the junk section - if it is not there, email me
Thank you too to the other entrants - for having a go and accepting our challenge. We hope to see you all back again and again!
For instance, the February challenge is up and it is
February Challenge #44 National Symbols
Incorporate a national symbol or iconic image from your country into your work - something a stranger to your land would immediately recognise as being of your place. For example, the White House is symbolic of the USA, and the Buck House soldiers are definitely from the UK, and a sprig of heather is Scottish and the 4 leaf clover is Irish, while the leek is Welsh! Apparently the white eagle is a symbol of Poland but I had to look that one up!
The twist is to use the colours from your country's flag on your project somewhere
Note too, that it does not have to be a card - you can make any paper project as long as you don't use a stamp of any kind on it (excluding postage stamps - you can use them!)
Some more inspiration for you today
Yes, two more cards but you don not have to create only cards - so, get thinking, get creating and go HERE to link your work! We are looking forward to seeing what you can create.
Two talented DT ladies...love your work. Congrats to the winners of the January challenge.
