Week 3 of Challenge#113: It's all about Me! Twist - a self portrait?

Hello Peeps - thanks for being patient with me

I had a big birthday at the start of the month, and a bigger party next weekend

Thenlife intervened and avery time I started to do the post and create for it, I ran into an obstacle - the phone rang, a visitor arrived, or we had an appointment

Sooo, I decided to just miss last week and announce the winners of the prizes this week instead!

DT Favorite

Number 1 Wendy

Random Number Draw

Number  14 Chris

Congratulations to you both - please contact me at

suhoganatgmaildotcomdotau

for the prize (Random Number) and/or a blinkie for the DT Favorite and the RN Prize

While I was waiting to do this post, I made a small album to contain the photo's about last weekend.....

Susan

I based my album on one I made at a workshop last year but swapped out the paper bag cover for DT papers and made it to suit the size of my large photos. It doesn't close - I wasted several vital minutes looking for the magnets I know I have somewhere until I finally gave up and left it!

(That's me on the left - the big girl with the red curls and the green jacket!)

and Vicki made this gorgeous folder cover

We already have some lovely pieces for the new challenge

ALL ABOUT ME!

with the TWIST of  using a self portrait
BUT the portrait does not have to be a photo!

What can you make of that?

Remember, it an be a card, a tag, a scrap page, a journal page or a 3D paper thingy!
BUT no stamps please!

June third week: Challenge#112: Seasons and Seasonal TWIST: use handmade flower(s)

 Hello Peeps

It is winter and the solstice has passed here on Tuesday. We celebrated it on Tuesday morning with a mid-winter swim in the nude in the middle of the city.

Dark Mofo | Nude Solstice Swim

I would like to say I did the swim but I lay in bed listening to the radio broadcast the screams of the people who ran into the water, while I was snug under the doona. I salute them and their enthusiasm....

I associate winter here in Tassie with the cool blues and green - my favorite colours really

With the challenge been a Seasonal one, I created a simple card based on these colours and the theme

Susan

What  are you going to do?

You have a a week left - well five day's really
What season are you celebrating?

Remember, no STAMPS please.
