Halfway Inspiration for Challenge #26 - Paper Dress (No Stamps)

I must admit I am surprised at the number of entries we have already. Everyone has outdone themselves and so many different styles of paper dresses. Very inspiring.

The Design Team is keeping the inspiration going with a couple more cards that you may get ideas from.

You can enter our current challenge here to be in the running to win the fantastic prize pack from Sticker Store.

Firstly we have Susan with a Decoupage/3D Paper Tole paper dress using Papermania pack for papers. Isn't this so elegant.

Cathy has used stickers from Sticker Store and was inspired by fellow DT members Beth and Susan in our original challenge post here. Another dress I would love to wear.

Merry tried her hand at an origami dress using this tutorial by Christy.

Challenge #26 - Paper Dress

We want to see how you can turn paper into a dress. Scrap pages, cards, journal pages, origami etc. are all welcome.

All entries are subject to the Design Teams discretion.

Any form of paper creation will be accepted as long as NO STAMPS (Digital or Rubber) have been used.

This month our sponsor is Sticker Store with a fantastic sticker package offered as a prize.

I think all the Design Team initially struggled with an idea but have come up with amazing creations. So it can be done....and I hope these inspire you to have a try at attempting a 'Paper Dress'.

Lauren has created a 7" x 9" mixed media canvas using mists, book pages, texture paste, paint, rub-ons and chipboard.

Merry was inspired by Pinterest. The link led to Merry here (DeAnn's blog) to the original post...please check it out. Merry used papers from here stash and the mini pink cupcakes from her baking stash. The bodice and body form were cut with scissors.

Sarah made the skirt of her dress out of page flags (from an office supply store) and part of a paper flower. The sentiment is a sticker.

Susan used stickers and sparkly papers, finished with a sticker sentiment.

Beth used a sticker from Sticker Store on some glitter embossed cardstock. The silver layers on this gatefold card are embossed.

JanR used her Silhouette to cut the beautiful dress, Jan also used store bought hello flag, flowers and bling.

More 'Birthday' Inspiration from Susan

Isn't this stunning. Birthday inspiration from Susan (DT) of 'A Time to Play' . Be sure to visit Susan's blog for more information.

Susan has used Papermania pack for papers, toppers and sentiments; also box template. Stars punched out and the label on the box. My Memories chipboard cutout for ribbon holder and this was covered in faux gold leaf and some distress ink. Ribbon from her stash.

JanR has more Birthday inspiration.

Our wonderful Design Team member JanR of 'Huh, So this is a Blog' has this fun 'Birthday' card to share as added inspiration for our current Birthday challenge. JanR has used patterned paper, some embossing, die cut stars, twine, a button, some Mr Huey mist, and a rub-on sentiment.

We are now Two Years old and it is time to celebrate.

Halfway Post and Showcase Entries - Challenge #24

Thought we would add the link gadget for our current challenge here so you can find it easily. Our original challenge post has so many photos for inspiration it takes a lot of scrolling to get to the end.

We were thinking this would be an easy challenge for everyone but it seems to be proving a little more difficult. At this stage we have only three wonderful entries which I am about to showcase as a thank you for taking up the challenge. These people (and you could be) in the running to win our fantastic prize this month a $25.00 Gift Certificate from Cardmaking Online. At this stage three to one are good odds. :-)

The challenge we have set is simply to CASE (copy) one of the Design Team creations from any post here on Unstampabelles.

This is Merry's Halfway Inspiration. Merry needed a card for her niece's Communion so decided to scroll through the Design Teams cards to find a layout that fit her idea. Merry thought Lauren's card from the Embossing challenge (photo below) fit the bill perfectly. Then Merry started digging through her stash to see what items she could find to best match Lauren's card. Easy as that.
