Challenge #10 - Theme Colours of your Country's flag bonus technique Shaped Card not square/rectangle

April is here and this means a new challenge.  Thanks to everyone for joining in our last challenge.  So many beautiful Easter designs and great to see a lot of people adding those extra folds to their creations to get their bonus entries.  Now the Design Team has thought long and hard and their Favourite for  challenge #9 is:-

Isn't Donna's Easter basket just stunning. It has been filled with chocolate eggs of various sizes, and Lace Eggs.
To make this Easter basket Donna has used cardstock, patterned papers, punches, smallest nesting egg first on heavy acetate coloured with Tria Markers. Then poured some crystal Waco pearl maker over it to cover the whole egg and sprinkled glamour dust. Donna cut a second Lace Egg out of gold mirri card and glued one to the front and one to the back of the egg.  Then attached a gold puffy bow on the front of each egg.
Please click on the photo to be taken to Donna's blog with more details and photos.

Jan has used a hint of black to make this card work which is totally acceptable in our challenge.  As long as the majority of your papercraft creation represents the colours of your country's flag.
JanR has used cardstock, embossing and twine to create this terrific shaped card.

Merry has used Linen Textured Cardstock and Bazzill patterned paper from Blue Edge Crafts,  paper flowers, bling brads from Pizzazz Aplenty.

Stacie is from United States of America

Susan has opted to use the Australian Sporting Flag which is totally allowable as this flag does represent Australia any sporting events.  So you can do similar.
This is an easel card with a drawer (full of chocolates), made from SU cardstock. Flag and animal stickers. The boxing kangaroo and sentiment, along with the outline of Australia are all computer generated. The two characters are the backs of chocolates bought at the Supermarket.  The sentiment on the bottom has a touch of Monica about it - handwritten. The button on the drawer is off Susan's parents old couch. Spellbinders dies used for the circles and banner, and a punch for the bottom sentiment and stars.
