Challenge #115: Salutations and Greetings TWIST stencils in background plus August Winners!

 Hello Peeps....

Welcome to Week 2 of Challenge #115

Salutations and Greetings

with a

TWIST of stencils in background

This month it is a bit open to interpretation and will suit all mediums. You can either make your greeting the centre of your piece or perhaps refer to different greetings in different languages perhaps, or create a piece that is all greetings, or just greet someone,  or.......or......or do whatever comes to mind to suit the theme - just remember, no stamps please.

The TWIST of a stencilled background is to get you using those stencils laying around in some form or other - or you can make your own stencil and use that to create a background. The background can be in chalk, paint, ink, whatever (might draw the line at blood and other bodily fluids)  but we must see the stencilling clearly to make sure it is not a stamp. Some stencils and stamps look so alike.

A 3D object made from card that has been stencilled or a scrapbook page or a journal piece....or a card! Whatever direction your creative juices can take you with this is fine.

Talking of Greetings, Weasley say's Hello!

Well, perhaps he was saying "Don't take a photo of me or I will bite you!"
Anyway, he is a big handsome boy.

Before we show you the inspiration for this week, it's time to announce the winners for the August Challenge

Now on with the July Challenge......

 Art and all that Jazz

The TWIST is to make it a multi media piece of work

mul·ti·me·di·a

(mŭl′tē-mē′dē-ə, -tī-)

The combined use of media

OR

Of or relating to the combined use of several media: a multimedia installation at the art gallery.

Now, techniquely  any piece of multi media is ART so the twist is done along with the theme! However, you can create with whatever art you are into: music, painting, carving, writing, drawing, making stuff................the art of craft........... as long as you don't use stamps and it is paper craft related.......

PS: You don't have to incorporate jazz into it either but if you want to....let it rip!

May Winners and June Challenge: #112 Seasons and a TWIS of flowers

 Hello Peeps

I  hope you are all travelling well in your own space and coping with all the challenges life throws at you. Sometimes it really packs a whammy, doesn't it!

I am currently in the middle of a winter moment. Here in Tassie we escaped the storms of the east coast on the mainland but some places were badly damaged. I was just talking to a family member in outer Melbourne and she send me photo's of her back yard with the three big trees all blown over and ruining her fences and into neighbouring gardens.  After three day's they have finally got their power back on in the last hour or two.

Meanwhile I was hoping for rain as our garden is so dry and plants are suffering. It finally delivered four day's of a drizzle and some heavier showers so I don't have to water but we have been living in a fog of mist and wet clothes and muddy pawprints on the floor....... but winter can be so pretty here too.

Enjoy picturesque views over the bucolic tapestry of Meander Valley.

Week Two of Anything Goes!

 Hello Peeps!

Hope all OK and making plans to get that jab!

We are well into summer here and it has rained and been overcast for at least one part of the day for a few weeks! My tomatoes are still getting ripe though.

Cat's are sort of friends but Weasley is not doing so well - he is not using his litter tray properly and growls at poor Bingo sometimes. I have tried to make him feel still well loved but it is taking time.

The challenge and the TWIST for this month is

Challenge 108#: ANYTHING GOES

so here is a bit of multi-media I managed to create late last year using water paints, Posca pens and inks

I was copying an idea created by someone else in the land of Pinterest.......

Mine is called "The Night Lights".....

I think I might frame this

Remember, there is a random number prize available and DT Favorite is chosen as well

Scroll down to week one to enter.....scrapping, cards, multimedia, journalling....3D stuff
