Challenge#109: theme LOCKDOWN! TWIST to scrap or use scraps

Last week for the challenge and we hear that parts of Europe have gone into a 4th lockdown. Chin up everyone! Keep safe, stay inside and get the jab when you can.

We have some lovely entries but many do not match the theme and/or the twist.......I have let people know where there is a problem but please read the instructions and theme before entering any of the challenges, whoever is running them. I know I have been caught out at times too.

Challenge#109: LOCKDOWN!

with a TWIST of Scrap It!

This seems to have stumped a few of you.
Remember, you can use a scrap page or you can make a journal page or a card
as long as the theme is "Lockdown"
Perhaps your card is to send to someone still in Lockdown to see how they are going?
Or you can create something that reflects how you are travelling during Lockdown ( or travelled, if you are out like we are)

The TWIST is easy - with scrap (or journal) it or use scraps!

We have nothing to show for inspiration today - perhaps tomorrow

I have an assignment and a sick man to look after so time is short

Cheers,

Winners from February, plus Challenge#109: LOCKDOWN! with a TWIST of Scrap It

Hello Peeps!

Welcome to week two of the March Challenge....

Now, the winners of February - we has some lovely entries and so have several DT Favorites

There is only one random number draw though

What a great way to use up ribbons!

Now, the DT Favorites
in no particular order

Congratulations all.
Margreet - can you email me please

If you would like blinkies to put on your blog, shoot me through a request

Now, this week's inspiration comes from my (much neglected) art journal and was done in April last year as part of my Wanderlust course in journalling, which I still have to complete.
It is not very good but it expressed my feelings at the time.....

Susan

It is a double page spread of ink, paint and collage

That is not a self portrait. You can let your hair down and just enjoy the experience of doing it without seeking perfection when you journal as it is not going to been seen by many and is not going to anyone.

(This is her 3rd EVER scrap page! Excellent work Keti!)

Let us see what you can do.....

March Challenge#109 Lockdown TWIST: Scrap It!

Welcome to March, Peeps!

Hope all is going well with you and yours and that you are keeping away from the worst of the weather and that nasty virus!

I have had a helper lately..........
Mr Weasley is still not happy and is being mean!

Well, March is here and we have a new challenge

 Challenge#109  Lockdown

TWIST: Scrap It!

(but card/journalling will be accepted if you follow the theme--of using scraps--if you don't create a scrap page)

You can  let your hair down here and show us what is happening at home while in lockdown!

We have some inspiration to help

Dale

What did you do in 2020?

PLEASE NOTE: THE THEME FOR THE MONTH IS

LOCKDOWN!

last Week of Challenge #108: Anything Goes

Hi Peeps - hope all of you are feeling fine and dandy and crafting up a storm. From the look of the entry numbers this month, it seems people are feeling quite crafty and clever! Still, we had one that used a stamp - please don't use stamps as this challenge is not using stamps! Several of the blogs I cannot get to to comment - cannot belong to everything out there! If you didn't get a comment it is not because your work was not seen and appreciated but because we could not comment on it.

Hope none of you got FACEDBOOKED this week either - talk about being a bit heavy handed.  Might backfire on the 'fairness' rule.........anyway, if your work is on FB we will usually be able to see it and comment so no worries.

The challenge and the TWIST for this month is

Challenge 108#: ANYTHING GOES

I made several things - I got all excited seeing people busting their stash so had a go at a stash-buster myself; and then recycled some things while supposedly tidying up! You can read all about it over at my blog........

Two for the price of one!

Tag recycling

Card as a Stash Buster!

You have five days to get something in to the challenge - just scroll down to the first posting for February and see the link.

See you there!

Week Two of Anything Goes!

 Hello Peeps!

Hope all OK and making plans to get that jab!

We are well into summer here and it has rained and been overcast for at least one part of the day for a few weeks! My tomatoes are still getting ripe though.

Cat's are sort of friends but Weasley is not doing so well - he is not using his litter tray properly and growls at poor Bingo sometimes. I have tried to make him feel still well loved but it is taking time.

The challenge and the TWIST for this month is

Challenge 108#: ANYTHING GOES

so here is a bit of multi-media I managed to create late last year using water paints, Posca pens and inks

I was copying an idea created by someone else in the land of Pinterest.......

Mine is called "The Night Lights".....

I think I might frame this

Remember, there is a random number prize available and DT Favorite is chosen as well

Scroll down to week one to enter.....scrapping, cards, multimedia, journalling....3D stuff

If I have time I will add something else later....

However, this is why I have been soooo busy

Day 3 of Bingo with us
He is 8 weeks old here - Weasley is not impressed

Day 14
Nearly Best Buds!

Bingo was nearly Harry but he had been called Bingo from 1 day old so
we kept it for him. He is just so energetic and such a play mate for my beautiful big ginger boy!

December winners!

Happy New Year (again)

Our year started well with a new edition arriving on Saturday (yesterday)

His name is Bingo and he is 8 weeks old.

Weasley is coming to terms with sharing but this morning was the first real face-off - through a window, needless to say. Things are a bit better - no more hissing and growling going on. Bingo is behaving himself much better now! Weasley has been a good boy and just spent time looking but the body language says it all!

The boys are supposed to get on and be friends  - we will see.

Now, there were some winners to be announced.......

For the random number draw winner.....

15. KARINSARTSCRAP: Winter

Contact me Karin and I will send the prize

Congratulations ladies!

We will be back in February.....if I survive the cats!

10 January 2021

Welcome to 2021

 Hello Peeps!

Happy 2021!

Here's hoping it is a lot better than last year, eh!

I hope your Christmas festivities went well and that

all are safe and relatively happy.

I will announce the winners for December next week

Life has been a  bit hectic here and I need another week to get organised.

Remember, the Belle's take a month off at this time of the year to enjoy the summer (if in the southern part of the world) or just have a respite. We will be back in February.

Meanwhile, if you are interested in becoming a Belle for 2021, just email me with your details

suhoganatgmaildotcom

See you next week!
